Picuture Dump

In case you've been wondering what we've been up to.....

A is in desperate need of a hair cut.  I love his bed head in the mornings.

Cousin Beckham and Asher playing with cars

Over Labor Day weekend, we went and visited Grandma & Grandpa Great!
We also visited Grandma Saez and Aunt Abby.
And we saw some good friends, The Hill's.  Asher got to sit on one of their horses.

We forgot Asher's blanket when we went.  Bedtime was rough, but we survived.

On our way home from Vernal, we made a stop at City Creek.  Our original plan was to just get a Godiva shake, (my favorite thing) and that was IT! But husband is too good to me and we got a few fall essentials.

Last weekend we went to Liberty Park with The Price's and played at the splash pad that is there.  Asher loves it! We went to the Greek Festival after that.  It gets bigger and bigger every year.  It was a 2 hour wait in line for food, and with three little ones, that wasn't going to happen.  So we went to Charlie Chow's.  It was great and we ate way too much but it was worth it.

We got a new rug.  It's A's favorite place to walk and dance now.

We ended our week with a walk around our block.

Babysitting

Our friends, the Price's, haven't gone on a date in almost a year.  Because they used to live in Logan and Greg's parents live there and at the time, his parents were the only people that their little girls were comfortable with.  Well, we've been hanging out and the girls seemed ok with us so we got to babysit them this weekend!  Greg and Pam left so fast I didn't even know they were gone. We had so much fun eating snacks, going down the slides, playing with the ball and watching Madagascar.  I think the kids had fun too ;)

Last night we went to Pace's for dinner and we saw Madagascar 3 at Kaysville theater.  I haven't been there in a long time and I forgot that it's the place to be on FHE night.  Needless to say, we were pretty close the the front.  That's ok though.  We got popcorn and Swedish Fish, once Asher tasted the fish, he wouldn't touch the popcorn.  Little Man knows what he wants! It was so fun and I can't wait for this weekend!

Stickers, ducks & drums

Asher got his toddler bed this week.  He loves it! He has only fallen out twice.  Before Hubby could take the whole crib apart to convert it, A was all over it.  He jumped right in! A loves going to bed, he knows that we read a bed time story, he will hold up a book and say, "boe boe".  Then we say prayers, he folds his arms and says amen at the end.  Then A crawls up into bed.  His favorite part about his bed is his pillow.  He loves that thing.  I'm so excited to start re-decorating his room.  I'm sure Hubby isn't, he blames pinterest.  I do too.

A found the headphones for the piano where I babysit at. He walked around all day with them on.  And of course, he had to hold the cord in his mouth.  No chewing though!

We went to the Real Game.  They always have a band play just in front of the stadium.  These guys were some kind of traditional drum group.  Probably the best group that RSL has ever had.

That's A pointing at the drummers. He loved them! Fist pumping and all.

Asher man found my camera button.  I have alot more of these on my phone :)

We went the Jensen Park with the Price's after Pam cooked a delicious enchilada dinner.
The ducks SWARMED us.  I think I was more afraid of the ducks than A was. He was loving it!

We went to In-N-Out before the game, they gave us stickers.  They are A's favorite thing now.  He loves to pull them off and stick them on his stomach or on me and hubby.

Funnel cakes and shakes!

This week started out with a new bruise on Asher's little head. It was nasty lookin.
And then I locked myself out of our house.  Oh jeez. Our landlord is probably regretting putting new locks on our door. haha

My hubby has dropped 4 pant sizes! We went to get him a new pair of jeans at Old Navy.
I was so good, I didn't even go to the girls side.  Although, I did see a shirt.....
On our way home, hubby drove through Panda Express just because I wanted a drink.
He's the best.

I had an eye appointment on Friday.  I can see again! This is what we did after.
Asher saw those darn strollers that are $5 to rent! What a rip off. I'm glad he was content with just sitting in it.

We got a yummy shake to kill time before I had to go to work.  Asher was loving it. He loves anything sweet.
One of my favorite things he does right now is hum when the music is on in the car.

We went to the Davis County Fair on Friday night with the Price family.
It was not as fun as the state fair. But we did see alot of people we knew and it was fun to catch up.  Asher was loving seeing all the animals and people.
I told Hubby that we had to get funnel cakes.  They were great. I stuffed my face.

Asher was playing with Chase while we babysat.  He loved this game. The bottom left pic is Asher in mid face plant. haha

Summer Time Lovin!

Asher figured out how to walk this week. He is everywhere.
He is already pretty much pro.

We went swimming on friday with Daddy and afterwards we went to Summerfest.
We got italian ice and watched all the dancers.
Asher loved watching them, til he had a weirdo meltdown about nothing.
So we went home, took a rest and......

We got my ring cleaned! Yay! This always makes me feel like it's
brand-spankin-new. I would do it everyday..but they would
probably tell me to go home.

Found this gem on my phone this morning :)

ohhh the sock bun.  It's my new go to hair-do.

New fingernail polish is almost as good as a new outfit......
almost.

Grandma got us the Lorax.  We've watched it twice.
I've fallen asleep twice.

We are loving summertime and we can't wait for the fairs!

Batman

We went to Dark Knight Rises after much debate between husband and I.  I liked it, and I'm glad we went.  It was fun! I surprised husband, I told him our landlord needed help out in the yard.  He went out and followed the bats to our car and he found the tickets!

Husband was so excited!

Some yummy cafe rio before the movie.
Always have to get a vanilla coke there. YUM

Husband and I sneaking a picture in the theater.
We got the big popcorn.  It took us 3 days to eat.

Asher will wear sunglasses.  Only outside.
If you put them on him inside, he takes them off after 3 seconds.

Our friends Greg and Pam have an awesome red car.
He commandeers it every time we go over.
He's mad that not every car is like the red car.

Asher got his 3rd big kid hair cut.

I made a cheese quesadilla on the stove.  After every bite he said MMMMMM.
He calls them crackers.

me and hubster.

Asher's fish died.  Wait, Kendon killed Asher's fish.  When we bought the fish, I recalled buying water clarifier from having a previous fish.  Kendon didn't want to buy it.  He killed the fish.  But he promised to get me Asher another one complete with a filter and a cool new fish bowl that comes with LED lights. What? Cool, I know.  (and the water clarifier) OH, and another fish...so our fish doesn't get lonely.

Our week in pictures

Asher fell asleep on the way to his eye appointment

This is Asher in the waiting room.  He looks like a big kid!

We got a fish.  Asher loves it.  He points to it and says 'ish?'
Kendon thinks it's ugly. And I think it's cute.

On our way to our Bachelorette Party.  It was a blast!

Asher-man was ready to go to the Bachelorette Party.
He was standing by the door waving and saying bye to us.

My cute kid being a ham for the camera

Me and Asher at Landau Eugine Murphy Jr.'s concert.
It was great. If you like crooners, listen to him.
And he is hilarious.
